Pimberly is a fast-growing tech business based in Manchester. We have developed a powerful cloud-based Product Information Management (PIM) Software and love what we do. Thanks to continued growth and success, we seek an ambitious and dynamic Presales Consultant to join and work in our growing team.

We have an enviable list of customers that includes many leading UK brands, such as JD Sports, Harvey Nichols, Monsoon, Regatta, FootAsylum, Iceland, and many international customers in Europe, Australasia, and the USA.

Overview of the Role:

This role focuses on collaborating closely with Account Executives to understand prospect requirements and shape them into customised demonstrations. These demonstrations will showcase how Pimberly can address pain points and uncover future opportunities, demonstrating how our PIM can deliver efficient and profitable growth. You will follow the sales cycle from demonstration to close, acting as the technical expert throughout the process. This involves engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from end-users to board-level executives, both remotely and in person.

Key Responsibility Area:

  • Your role will primarily focus on providing bespoke demonstrations to qualified prospects and converting these into customers. Additionally, there may be opportunities to assist with sales campaigns where required.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in product information management (PIM).
  • Effectively demonstrate Pimberly products and technologies to diverse audiences: This includes individuals with varied technical knowledge and seniority across large-scale operations, relating business challenges to Pimberly’s functionality to solve the problem at hand.
  • Deliver credible and compelling tailored demonstrations: Build custom demonstrations and sandboxes that capture the prospect's requirements and deliver long-term value using the Pimberly product suite.
  • Engage with clients to understand their technical and business requirements: Ensure that all necessary information is gathered before producing a solution.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives: Build relationships with prospects to understand their needs and requirements, guiding them towards the solution that best fits their needs.
  • Support the Sales Team: Assist Account Executives and Account Managers from qualification and discovery calls through to custom demonstrations and deal closure.
  • Perform other typical Presales tasks: This includes cooperating with technical personnel and partners.

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of pre-sales engineering and/or strategy/management/technology consulting experience.
  • Knowledge of application development to support being the external representative of the Pimberly application.
  • Working knowledge of APIs and a common understanding of SaaS platforms within the eCommerce tech stack (e.g. ERP, eCommerce Platform, Order Management systems, etc.) Implementation and/or consulting experience.
