REQUIREMENTS
- EASA ATPL(A) or CPL(A)-IR, frozen ATPL with ATPL Theory Credit or JAA Equivalent
- Valid CPL/IFR multi-engine
- EU citizenship or valid employment title for Austria
- EU citizen - all other applicants will be examined on a case-by-case basis (visa compatibility)
- Matura, vocational qualification examination or Abitur or subject-specific university entrance qualification from your country of origin (study entrance qualification examination or technical college entrance qualification is not sufficient)
- Possession of an unrestricted passport
- Possession of a Class I Medical
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English (at least ICAO Level 4)
- Size: from 165 cm
- Glasses and contact lens wearers: visual impairment with a maximum of +5/-6 diopters (not laser corrected)
- You have never been eliminated from an aviation psychology aptitude test for pilots as a Ready Entry ('FU') at DLR or from the PIT/Sim screening at Austrian Airlines
- You have never left Austrian Airlines Pilot Training
- The entire selection process takes place in German; there is no possibility of taking the tests in another language
