As a pilot at KLM, you are responsible for the safe and efficient execution of our flights. We are not just looking for pilots, we are looking for colleagues who want to get the best out of themselves. General Qualifications

  • Minimum MBO-4 diploma in technology, or HAVO diploma, or equivalence in the case of a foreign education
  • Valid passport from an EU Member State
  • Height between 1.58 and 2.03 meters. No leg length measurement takes place
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch language. If you are not Dutch speaking, you must have passed an exam at European Reference Framework B2 level prior to the selection procedure

  • Valid Type Rating of a Multi-Pilot Aircraft
  • PBN annotation
  • ME IR (A)
  • Last pages of your logbook (demonstrating 150 hours recent flying experience in commercial aviation and 500 hours on a multi-engine aircraft with a MTOW > 5700KG)
  • I-CRM
  • Completed Multi Crew Cooperation Course
  • Class I medical
  • (Frozen) ATPL(A)
  • LPE6
  • Advanced UPRT (Upset Prevention & Recovery Training)

Additional Notes

  • All documentation (including high school diploma etc.) must be uploaded in PDF format with your application. All documentation must be submitted in full for a possible hiring decision
  • Type rating and medical must be valid for at least 3 months at the time of entry into employment
  • Both medical and brevet must be issued in the Netherlands or converted for possible acceptance
  • The costs for converting a medical and foreign certificate are at your own expense
