The opportunity

As a First Officer on the Embraer E170/E190, you’ll operate one of the most efficient and pilot‑friendly regional jets in service. You’ll work within a highly professional multi‑crew environment, honing your skills across diverse routes while prioritising safety, punctuality, and passenger comfort. Partner with the Captain to deliver safe, compliant operations from briefing to shutdown. Execute SOPs, apply sound decision‑making, and maintain exceptional situational awareness. Communicate clearly with the flight deck, cabin crew, ATC, and ground teams. Champion a just culture and continuous improvement mindset across all flight operations.

What you’ll bring

  • Flight time: A minimum of 500 hours total time or 100 route sectors on a Multi‑Pilot Aircraft.
  • Licencing: Valid CPL with IR and ME.
  • Authority: Hold a UK Part‑FCL licence or hold an EASA licence and meet the UK CAA “Third Country CPL/ATPL licence conversion requirements” (routes 3, 4, 5 or 6).
  • Medical: Current Class 1 medical.
  • English: ICAO English Level 6.
  • Right to work: Able to live and work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Attitude: Professionalism, teamwork, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

Training & development

No E‑Jet type rating? No problem. Comprehensive training is provided, including ground school, full‑flight simulator sessions, and line training to get you confidently operational on the Embraer E170/E190. Structured type rating pathway with experienced instructors. Ongoing recurrent training and proficiency checks. Clear progression framework within a modern regional jet operation.
