The opportunity
As a King Air Captain, you’ll deliver safe, polished and personable VIP charter experiences. You’ll fly a varied number of hours each month, operate with autonomy within a small, tight-knit team, and help shape a growing business with a reputation for excellence.
What you’ll do
- Captain the Beechcraft King Air B200 for bespoke, non-scheduled charter missions.
- Deliver a customer-focused experience, representing Broad Sword with professionalism at every touchpoint.
- Operate to the highest safety and compliance standards, following company manuals and UK regulations.
- Work effectively in a small team while remaining comfortable making decisions autonomously.
- Contribute to operational flexibility and support the growth of the business portfolio.
- Maintain currency and readiness to meet variable flying demands month-to-month.
What you’ll bring
- Valid UK CPL or ATPL with a current King Air rating.
- Current UK Class 1 Medical.
- IT literacy, including MS Office and web-based systems.
- Personable, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and thrive in a small team.
- Commitment, flexibility and a genuine interest in helping the business grow.
- UK Passport, Right to Work in the UK and a valid UK Driving Licence.
- Prepared to complete an evaluation to demonstrate flying skills during recruitment.
- Advantage: Demonstrable VIP or charter experience.
Ideal flying profile
- 1500+ total flying hours.
- 400+ hours as PIC
- 100+ hours IFR

Base & lifestyle
This role is primarily based at Doncaster or Humberside Airport. You should live within a reasonable travelling distance of your base to support the demands of a responsive, non-scheduled charter operation.
