What you’ll do:
- Command A321neo/XLR operations across the Wizz Air UK network
- Lead a high‑performing crew and uphold the highest safety and compliance standards
- Deliver punctual, efficient, and passenger‑focused operations
- Support our expanding XLR network featuring new layover destinations
Minimum requirements:
- License: ATPL — EASA or UK CAA
- Total time: Minimum 3,500 factorized hours (see factorization table at onedoor.wizzair.com)
- Instrument rating: Valid IR on any multi‑engine class/type
- Multi‑engine: Valid multi‑engine class or type rating
- Command experience (Option A): 1,000 hours as Commander on Airbus FBW aircraft in an airline environment
- Command experience (Option B): 1,500 hours on a large turbojet with MTOM > 50,000 kg and 1,000 hours as Commander on aircraft with MTOM > 50,000 kg in an airline environment
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
- Recency: Preferably last commercial flight within the preceding 6 months (additional training may apply if not met)
Note: Simulator hours are excluded. PIC hours refer to Pilot‑in‑Command time and do not include PICUS.
Training & type rating (NTR): Non‑type‑rated Captains are welcome. Comprehensive A320 Family type rating and differences training are provided, followed by tailored line training to set you up for success.
