We are seeking highly skilled and motivated First Officers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Captain and Cabin Crew to operate the Boeing 787 safely and professionally, while providing a warm, friendly experience for every guest. You will uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and airmanship on every sector.

What You Will Do

  • Operate the Boeing 787 as First Officer in accordance with company SOPs and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, including performance, mass and balance, fuel, weather, and NOTAM reviews.
  • Manage normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures and checklists with precision and care.
  • Maintain exceptional CRM with the Captain and Cabin Crew to ensure a safe, efficient, and friendly operation.
  • Monitor and manage navigation, FMS/avionics, and fuel throughout each flight.
  • Demonstrate strong situational awareness and sound decision-making, especially under changing operational conditions.
  • Contribute to a just culture by reporting safety occurrences and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Represent Norse Atlantic with professionalism and a guest-first mindset at all times.

  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, navigation, and meteorology.
  • Excellent situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 500 hours total flight time as pilot on multi-pilot (CS-25) aircraft.
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided).
  • Boeing 787 type rating or willingness to complete type rating training.
  • Licences: CPL with IR and ME ratings. Open to licence holders: UK CAA.
  • Medical: Class 1. ICAO ELP Level 5.
  • Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Type rating training is provided for suitable candidates. You will receive high-quality instruction and ongoing development to help you thrive within our Boeing 787 operation.
