Minimum requirements

  • Licence: Frozen ATPL with valid IR and multi-engine (ME)
  • Authority: UK CAA or EASA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
  • Turbine time: Minimum 500 hours
  • Multi-crew ME/IR: Minimum 500 hours in multi-crew operations on ME aircraft (Airline ME > 5.7 t; Business ME > 20 t)
  • Current ratings: Valid multi-engine class or type rating and valid IR
  • ATPL theory: Completed (certificate or licence endorsement)
  • JOC: Completed, unless you have previous jet time or a jet type rating (e.g., B737)

Note: Ultralight, power glider, simulator and helicopter hours do not count toward minima.
