Base pay range: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience), car allowance and fuel card on top.
Location: Hemel Hempstead office, with site coverage mainly across Northwest London.

About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead and deliver high-quality major refurbishment and planned works within the social housing sector. Although the role is based in our Hemel Hempstead office, the successful candidate will primarily oversee sites across North West London, where the majority of our properties and projects are located. You’ll ensure projects are delivered smoothly, to the highest standards, and with a focus on resident care, all while maintaining strict compliance with health & safety regulations.
Main Objectives
- Manage day-to-day site operations for major refurbishment projects/planned works
- Conduct pre- and post-inspections to ensure works are delivered "right first time"
- Coordinate subcontractors and operatives for timely and cost-effective delivery
- Build strong relationships with residents, housing officers, and client teams
- Ensure compliance with H&S policies, CDM regulations, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate site documentation (RAMS, progress reports, site photos)
- Identify, report, and resolve delays, issues, or deviations from scope
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a similar type of project in the social housing sector
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and common defects, particularly in planned/major refurbishment works
- Confident in using tablets and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) for reporting and documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
Desirable Skills & Certifications
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Experience with NHF Schedule of Rates
- Ability to manage multiple sites or a team of mobile operatives
Essential Certifications
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
- First Aid at Work
- CSCS card
- Fire Marshal/ Safety Certificate
