We are seeking an experienced Carpet Fitter team for General Works projects within the social housing sector in Reading. This role is ideal for teams looking for steady, long-term work on a well-organised programme in occupied properties.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carpet flooring installation
- Uplift and disposal of existing flooring
- Floor preparation
- Fitting underlay and gripper rods
- Ensuring high-quality finish in occupied properties
Qualifications
- CSCS card
- Proven experience in carpet/flooring installation
- Experience in domestic/social housing preferred
- NVQ Level 2 (preferred)
- Basic H&S certifications (asbestos awareness preferred)
Additional Information
- Right to work in the UK
- Own tools (110v or battery-operated)
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (van preferred)
