PiLON is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee our domestic electrical teams and subcontractors within the social housing sector. You will play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while supporting the growth of our business and team.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise electricians and subcontractor teams on domestic properties
- Check and sign off electrical certificates (EICR, EIC, Fire alarms)
- Register jobs with Building Control and oversee subcontractor certificates
- Conduct weekly site audits and provide technical support to engineers and site teams
- Produce monthly reports for clients and maintain compliance with GDPR and company policies
- Support junior colleagues and help develop their skills
- Work between office and site visits to ensure full compliance with project specifications
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Electrical Supervisor
- Knowledge of legislation, procedures, reporting, and KPIs
- Strong communication skills to present and explain technical topics
- Competent in MS Office 365 and certification software (e.g., EasyCert/Click)
- Organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility regarding travel and extended hours when required
Qualifications:
- ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) or CSCS card
- 2382-18 Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations
- BS7671:2018 Level 3 Inspection & Testing qualification
- 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent
- Asbestos Awareness
- Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable, but not essential:
- Degree-level education or equivalent
- Relevant professional qualifications
