Role Description
This is a casual, on‑site Event Security Officer role based across the United Kingdom.
Event Security Officers will be responsible for monitoring venue entrances and exits, conducting access control checks, and ensuring that only authorised individuals enter restricted areas.
The role includes patrolling event spaces, observing crowd behaviour, and responding promptly to security incidents or safety concerns.
Officers will support emergency procedures, assist with evacuations if required, and communicate clearly with event organisers, colleagues, and members of the public.
The position also involves writing brief incident reports, following company protocols, and maintaining a visible, professional presence at all times.
Compensation
- Statutory Holiday Pay
- SSP + 3% CSP (where applicable and within policy)

Qualifications
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness, with the ability to identify potential risks and respond calmly under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with event attendees, colleagues, and clients in a professional manner.
- Ability to follow security procedures, work within a team, and take direction from supervisors and event managers.
- Good physical fitness and readiness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including outdoor environments.
- Prior experience in security, events, or customer‑facing roles is beneficial; SIA licence or equivalent security certification is mandatory.
- Basic report‑writing skills and familiarity with documenting incidents or observations accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by event schedules.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards, and representing the company positively.
