It’s nearly the most magical time of the year! For those of us who live and breathe retail, our preparations have started, and we know for a fact that Santa’s workshop is already in full swing. Now is your opportunity to be part of Pillow Talk, by joining us in these highly exciting Sales + Stock, Retail Christmas Casual roles at our Rockhampton stores. We are now looking for additional team members across the country to help us bring the Christmas spirit alive.

Anyone can offer you a job at Christmas, but we’ve got something else in mind - JOY! It’s not about how much you know about linen, homewares, or bedding (we can teach you that), it’s about you, and your unwavering passion to delight every customer you engage.

A Bit About You…

  • Sales Assistant: You’re full of personality and confidence, and can quickly develop interpersonal connections with customers and colleagues.
  • You have the ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities and all the curveballs that retail can throw at you.
  • You have great availability for work across the seven days of the week, and most importantly our busy weekends.
  • Great listening skills and problem-solving skills to help our customers find the perfect home gift idea for their loved ones.

This role will be a maximum-term contract and therefore, you must be available from now until 25th January 2026.

Stock Assistant Encompasses The Above Plus:

  • Ability to assist with stock receival, ensuring products are unpacked in a timely manner and allocated appropriately to either refill the floor or restock the storeroom.
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg of stock and an understanding of OHS practices.
