As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic
Head Chef to join our team and play a key role in driving the kitchen forward.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to support our Executive Head Chef in leading our kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in high-quality food preparation, team leadership, cost control, and kitchen management.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest culinary standards, developing menus, leading the kitchen team, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene practices (e. g. HACCP).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with stock management and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Head Chef in leading and managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation and service.
- Supervise, train and motivate the kitchen team to ensure consistency, quality and compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders to maintain efficient inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen in line with hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets our presentation and quality standards.
- Work closely with the front-of-house and management teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Manage kitchen costs, minimise waste and maximise food margins.
- Prepare staff rotas, oversee time management and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Carry out regular kitchen inspections and quality control checks.
- Lead by example, creating a positive, supportive and high-performing kitchen culture.
