We’re thrilled to announce that D3 is growing! Our second venue is opening at the iconic Olympia London, and we’re on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Head Chef to join our team from January 2026.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to support our Executive Head Chef in leading our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in high-quality food preparation, team leadership, cost control, and kitchen management. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest culinary standards, developing menus, and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our guests.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as Head Chef in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene practices (e.g., HACCP).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Budgeting and cost control experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Head Chef in leading and managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and service.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor food stock and place orders to maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with hygiene regulations.
- Ensure all dishes leave the kitchen meeting presentation and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and management team to deliver a seamless service.
- Manage kitchen costs, monitor waste, and optimize food margins.
- Create staff rotas, oversee time management, and ensure proper staffing levels.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections and quality control audits.
- Lead by example in creating a positive, productive work environment.
