This is a fundraising role at the heart of what charities need most: long-term, reliable income that lets them keep doing their vital work. Your performance will have a direct, measurable impact from day one.
Your Mission
As a Self-Employed Fundraiser with Pillar, you'll be the link between the public and the causes we support.
Day-to-day you'll be:
Engaging the public at busy venues, including shopping centres, private sites and events across London
Signing supporters up to Regular Giving programmes to secure ongoing contributions
Building genuine rapport quickly and representing our charity partners with professionalism and passion
Working as part of a supportive, high-energy team to meet and beat fundraising targets
Taking pride in your pitch, your materials and your presentation

No prior fundraising experience needed. Full training is provided.
The ideal candidate is:
A great communicator who loves talking to people
Resilient and positive, able to handle rejection and bounce back stronger
Self-motivated and target-driven
Reliable, punctual and professional
Based in or around London

This is a contract for services (self-employed). You will be responsible for managing your own tax and National Insurance contributions.

I used the £70 daily rate from your recent versions, as the original said £80, so change it if Pillar's rate differs. I also kept the self-employed tax line in. I can make it events-based like Avenue, or add the stronger hooks if you'd like.
