Our client is in need of a Director to join their business on industrial/shed projects. This role would be perfect for you if you enjoy winning new work/bidding. Our client is an established independent consultancy with offices across the UK and a growing international presence. They are involved in some of the country’s most prestigious construction schemes worth anything from £10m to more than £1bn, including commercial towers, sports stadiums, major regeneration schemes, and complicated cultural/heritage projects.

Who Are You:
Our client is actively seeking a Director to join their London division and be involved at a senior level on various shed/warehouse schemes. For this role, you’ll need to be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and have experience winning new business, as well as an established client network. You will have a team behind you; however, currently, they don’t have anyone running this side, so it is a genuine opportunity to build out a team within an established business.

Qualifications:

  1. 10 years construction experience – mainly within industrial/data centres/shed projects and within a consultancy environment
  2. Extensive client network – mainly in the transport sector
  3. Sound knowledge on creation of cost plans/feasibility/tender/loss and expense
  4. Experience working on large scale projects
  5. A motivated individual who has experience leading and mentoring a team
  6. Excellent written and spoken communication
  7. Relevant University degree – MRICS chartered
  8. Experience working the whole life cycle of a project – skilled in both pre and post contract duties
  9. Preparation and agreement of final accounts
  10. Extensive knowledge of market conditions
