We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to lead our small, 6-bed learning disability and mental health residential home in Ely, Cardiff. This is our sole service, supported by a small, dedicated staff team, offering a rare opportunity to have genuine ownership, autonomy, and influence over how the service is run. You will be a visible, approachable leader, working closely with residents and staff to maintain a warm, stable, and person-centred home.

As a small service, we value managers who remain connected to the day-to-day running of the home. While your primary focus will be leadership, quality, and compliance, there may be occasional occasions where you support the team operationally, for example, stepping in during short-term staff sickness to ensure continuity of care. This is about leading by example and supporting your team, not routinely filling rota gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall leadership and management of a 6-bed learning disability and mental health residential service
  • Acting as the Registered Manager in line with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations and standards
  • Promoting a positive, person-centred approach
