Setting Out Engineers - Piling in Milton Keynes

Setting Out Engineer\\n\\nPRG are supporting a leading ground engineering contractor in their search for experienced Setting Out Engineers to join their expanding team. The role will involve travelling to sites across the Midlands and Southern UK regions, providing accurate setting out and technical support on a range of piling and reinforced concrete projects.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Carry out setting out duties for piles, beams and associated works, ensuring accurate build records are maintained.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Complete on-site surveying, levelling and dimensional checks.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Work closely with project engineers, site teams and supervisors to ensure drawings, plans and specifications are fully understood and correctly implemented.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Provide reinforced concrete setting out support and guidance to the construction team when required.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Record daily activities and progress within site diaries.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Report progress, technical issues and site data to the engineering and surveying departments.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Coordinate pile and beam positions in line with project layout drawings.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Organise and manage your workload across multiple sites.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Undertake quality inspections and ensure construction meets the required standards.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist in overseeing subcontractors involved in setting out activities.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Check quantities and verify calculations for accuracy.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise with planners, quantity surveyors, subcontractors and site teams.\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong understanding of construction methods and building processes.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with a range of departments and site teams.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer, Site Engineer or Engineering Surveyor.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience with reinforced concrete works and structural setting out.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Good numerical skills and the ability to interpret technical information.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competent in AutoCAD.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Willing to travel to various project locations across the UK.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Valid CSCS card.\\n\\nOther Requirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Eligibility to live and work in the UK.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Flexibility to travel nationally when required.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Full UK driving licence\\n\\nWhat’s Offered\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary based on experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Permanent, full-time position.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Company benefits include pension scheme, bonus opportunities and Healthcare, internal training and ongoing professional development.\\n\\n * \\n\\n 24/7 confidential employee support service
