The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting for a HSE Manager to join our clients team, this role will be based from their Nottingham office, but hold responsibility for sites across the UK, which you will be required to visit as required.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the project with the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System
  • Supporting other enabling disciplines on projects such as Procurement, design, commercial etc.
  • Manage Company Health & Safety and wellbeing Policies and Procedures and statutory requirements and ensure that these are implemented.
  • Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, ill health, and the practical implementation of the company’s HSE policies.
  • Work with the operations team in preparing and developing the Health & Safety Plan & coordinate reviews as required.
  • Lead on compiling and completion of Client led HSW metrics and quarterly reporting.
  • Undertake site inspections as required. Participate as requested in “Company” Audit and inspections.
  • Maintain the health and safety competency matrix of the scheme.
  • Advise on the assessment and appointment of sub-contractors.
  • Assist where necessary with tenders and presentations to external bodies.
  • Undertake investigation of accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, near misses and other incidents.
