PRG are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and well-established ground engineering contractor, for a Design & Estimating Engineer to support their expanding North West operations. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced engineer or a motivated graduate looking to build a long-term career within the piling and foundations sector.
You’ll gain hands-on exposure to live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and receive structured support to accelerate your development.
Key Responsibilities:- Review enquiries and assess suitability for tender
- Prepare accurate estimates and submit tenders on time
- Help identify practical and cost-effective piling solutions
- Produce pile and beam layouts and assist with design packages
- Liaise with internal teams throughout the tender process
- Support project handovers and assist with design changes
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) or relevant industry experience
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude
- Eagerness to learn and develop technically
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
