PRG are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and well-established ground engineering contractor, for a Design & Estimating Engineer to support their expanding North West operations. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced engineer or a motivated graduate looking to build a long-term career within the piling and foundations sector.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and receive structured support to accelerate your development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review enquiries and assess suitability for tender
  • Prepare accurate estimates and submit tenders on time
  • Help identify practical and cost-effective piling solutions
  • Produce pile and beam layouts and assist with design packages
  • Liaise with internal teams throughout the tender process
  • Support project handovers and assist with design changes
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) or relevant industry experience
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technically
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
