Senior Works Manager – Ground Engineering Location: Southern UK – Multi-Site Role Sector: Ground Engineering / Geotechnical / Soil Stabilisation Employment: Permanent Piling Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Works Manager to oversee ground engineering operations across multiple projects throughout Southern UK. This is a senior operational role suited to someone with extensive practical experience within ground engineering, ground anchors, soil nailing and stabilisation works. The Senior Works Manager will oversee and support a team of Works Managers across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with agreed programmes, quality standards and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee ground anchor, soil nail and stabilisation projects across Southern UK * Manage, support and provide guidance to Works Managers and site teams * Monitor site performance, productivity, quality and progress * Ensure works are completed in accordance with agreed specifications and programmes * Visit multiple sites to provide operational and technical support * Identify potential issues and use previous experience to implement practical solutions * Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality and production are maintained * Liaise with project teams, clients and senior management * Report directly to the Construction Manager * Support the successful delivery of projects from an operational perspective Candidate Requirements: * Strong practical experience within the ground engineering or geotechnical sector * Experience of ground anchors, soil nails and/or stabilisation works * Previous experience in a senior supervisory, Works Manager or operational role * Strong understanding of site operations, quality and production * Proven ability to manage and support multiple site teams * Confident problem solver with a practical, hands-on approach * Strong communication and leadership skills * Willing and able to travel regularly between sites throughout Southern UK This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Works Manager, Senior Supervisor or Ground Engineering professional looking to progress into a senior multi-site operational position.
