Pilgrims Way Surgery based in Dartford is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic salaried GP on a permanent part-time basis. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to work three sessions a week within a growing, dynamic, forward thinking, friendly and supportive team. We welcome applications from both experienced and recently qualified GPs.

Main duties of the job:

  • To manage patient caseload for both acute and chronic problems, ensuring high standards of care for all patients.
  • Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations and home visits.
  • Make autonomous decisions, assess healthcare needs, and screen for disease risk factors.
  • To provide on-call duties as part of a GP rota.
  • Complete all relevant patient admin in a timely manner.
  • Comply with policies, ensuring lifelong learning, contribute to audits and clinical standards.
  • Communicate with team members, patients and carers in a clear and consistent way.

About us:

Pilgrims Way Surgery is an expanding Two partner PMS practice with a patient population of approx. 9000. We have a fantastic team including a Salaried GP, Paramedic practitioner and a Physician Associate, Practice Nurses, HCAs, and a good established support and reception team in place. We are a member of an innovative high performing Primary Care Network (Garden City PCN) with other local practices. We are a small friendly practice who highly values both our patients and staff. We have rich ethos in education and our Partners of the surgery are GP Trainers.

  • Essential GP Qualified.
  • This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
  • Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
