Location: Huntingdon

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead food safety, quality and compliance across our site, ensuring the highest standards are consistently achieved for customers, consumers and regulators.

The Role

  • Lead all technical, food safety and quality activity across the factory
  • Ensure compliance with BRC, customer and legal standards
  • Manage and develop the site Technical Team
  • Lead customer, certification and regulatory audits
  • Drive continuous improvement across product, process and environment
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering and Service teams to raise standards
  • Analyse microbiological and chemical trends and manage incidents effectively
  • Contribute to site strategy as part of the Leadership Team

About You

  • Proven Technical or Quality Management experience in the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, food legislation and high-risk/chilled environments
  • Experience working with major retail customers
  • Confident people leader with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Proactive, organised and driven by continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
  • Advanced Diploma in Applied HACCP Principles (or equivalent)
