This is a Full Time vacancy that will close in 21 days at 23:59 BST.
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Operative to join the Technical Team at Redruth site. Working Hours will be Mon-Fri 14:30 pm – 23:30 pm.
In your role, you will ensure that products achieve the highest food safety and quality standards for our customers. You will lead by example and actively encourage all staff to take ownership of product quality and immediately report any quality or food safety issues.
The suitable applicant will be required:
- To check and monitor processes, making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and procedure standards.
- To maintain a working knowledge of all products produced site-wide and the procedures surrounding that production, including relevant paperwork.
- To input data as required by the department’s needs.
- To ensure product safety and quality meet specifications and procedures.
- To be fully competent in completing all QA functions.
- To perform all aspects of on-line checks of product, packaging, labelling, and procedure, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- To routinely check factory paperwork and report or action issues efficiently.
- To carry out gas analysis on packaging and complete relevant paperwork.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or food-related industry.
- Be accustomed to working under pressure.
- Be familiar with HACCP and know CCPs in site operations.
- Have the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Be able to complete all paperwork with 100% accuracy.
- Show commitment to their role through punctuality and attendance, demonstrating a 'can-do attitude'.
