We have an exciting opportunity for a Despatch Operative to join our team at King’s Lynn site! Shift Pattern Days - 6:00am-14:00pm / 14:00pm-22:00pm rotational shift including weekend cover when required. The successful candidate will join us on a permanent basis.
You will perform manual handling tasks and operate PPT & Fork Lift Truck whilst ensuring you comply with Company policies, H&S and Food Safety Standards at all times.
Your Main Tasks:
- Receiving and booking in stock correctly using the SAP and Arolink software systems.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles as per the trunking schedules.
- Ensuring all documentation for stock and equipment is completed correctly and filed away accordingly.
- Participate in the monthly stocktake to ensure that stocks within the warehouse are correct and report any discrepancies to your Area Supervisor.
- Ensure dolavs are clean before being used.
- Working on the X-Ray machine and completing associated CCP paperwork.
- Decanting product.
The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated and able to undertake all aspects of what can be a physically demanding role. Experience working on PPT and/or FLT Reach Truck is essential.
