My job
To support the Farm Manager in all aspects of management with a view to maximising the performance from the farm. This will include supervising a small team of staff and assisting with all daily activities and routines carried out on the farm. The role will also provide full relief cover when the Farm Manager is on holiday or during alternative weekends, including completing all records and monitoring alarm systems.
To supply the breeder laying farm(s) with the budgeted number of high-quality, healthy, 19-week-old pullets and cockerels. These birds need to be of correct uniformity, follow the standard bodyweight profile, have the correct blood litre levels, and be produced at or below the budgeted cost.
