We’re looking for a Customer Development Partner to combine culinary creativity with commercial insight, helping our customers develop menus, discover new products and grow their businesses.
In this varied, customer-facing role, you’ll build strong relationships, deliver inspiring food demonstrations and turn fresh ideas into practical solutions that support growth for our customers and Pilgrim Foodservice.
What you’ll be doing
Working with customers to create innovative, practical menus that suit their business.
Leading tastings, cook-offs and product demonstrations that bring ideas to life.
Working with procurement, sales, marketing and suppliers to develop new product ranges and menu concepts.
Spotting food trends and opportunities to help customers achieve their goals.
Supporting customer presentations, events and supplier innovation sessions.
What you’ll bring
A trained chef background with at least two years’ experience as a Head Chef or Development Chef in foodservice or manufacturing.
Experience in menu development, culinary innovation and coaching or training teams.
Confident presentation skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Commercial awareness, balancing creative ideas with practical business results.
Strong organisation, a collaborative approach and a passion for excellent customer service.
A full driving licence.
