We're looking for a Multiskilled Engineer who's ready to make an impact, drive improvement, and be part of a supportive, high-performing engineering team. What You'll Be Doing
- Responding to mechanical and electrical faults quickly to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Spotting issues before they become problems and delivering practical, effective fixes.
- Getting to know all areas of the factory and becoming a go-to expert.
- Working closely with production teams to understand their needs and deliver great service.
- Driving improvements using tools like 5S, SMED, TPM, CI and data-based decision-making.
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards, including CCPs, HACCP, core procedures, and customer specs.
- Following issues through to completion and sharing learnings with the team.
- Making sound engineering decisions that balance safety, efficiency, and production impact.
- Supporting environmental responsibility by helping reduce waste and environmental impact.
- Playing a vital role in achieving engineering KPIs and overall factory performance.
What You'll Bring
- Strong multiskilled background (mechanical & electrical).
- Ability to understand, interpret, and produce technical information.
- Confidence in analysing data and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Experience using CMMS systems and preferably AutoCAD (ACAD).
- Good IT capability, including Microsoft Office and in-house operating systems.
- A strong safety mindset: risk assessments, safe systems of work, permits to work, PUWER.
- A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work well within a team.
