To provide proactive HR support across the site, ensuring effective delivery of employee relations, people processes, compliance, and engagement activities in line with Pilgrim's Europe policies, values, and employment legislation.,
- Provide HR advice and support to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence cases.
- Support delivery of the Group People Strategy and key people metrics such as retention, turnover, and absence.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employment law requirements are applied consistently.
- Maintain accurate HR systems, records, and reporting.
- Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and support wellbeing initiatives.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and apprenticeship programmes.
- Assist with training compliance, employee engagement activities, and communication forums.
- Support ethical audits, customer requirements, and health & safety initiatives.
Experience in a generalist HR role. - Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
- Experience managing employee relations cases.
- Proficient in HR systems and administration., CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable).
- Manufacturing or food industry experience (desirable).
