Responsibilities
- Create effective daily production plans from daily customer orders and supply accurate and timely information for production process activities such as mincing, forming and frying, and packing and dispatching, maintaining the necessary balance between all areas as per the daily requirement.
- Build effective relationships with all relevant parties to ensure full adoption and implementation of all plans within the production and associated departments and encourage feedback if there are issues or areas for improvement.
- Play an active role in managing WIP stocks, including ad hoc use to ensure good stock control and no wastage.
- Using SAP, Arolink and other systems to monitor production plans and orders.
- Proven planning knowledge and capability.
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
- Disciplined in working to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Understands the financial implications of the impact that the plan/planning have on the business.
- Team player.
