The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a team working across a designated shift pattern, providing support across the site including our Abattoir, Butchery and Packing Departments.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent fault finding and strong mechanical skills with a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs.
  • Accurately record all maintenance work using the computerised maintenance system – strong computer skills are a must.
  • Excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall needs of the business are met.
  • Direct experience of working with food processing and packaging equipment is desirable; training on specialist equipment can be provided for a suitable candidate.

Qualifications

  • Recognised qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Experience with food processing and packaging equipment preferred.
