Find out more about Finborough Court Housing As Housing Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme, supporting our residents and ensuring they enjoy a loving, caring and supportive environment where their wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. We are committed to creating a warm and supportive environment for our “family members” (our residents) while maintaining the Christian ethos that is important to many of them. Assess the needs of potential occupants against eligibility criteria and allocate housing units accordingly. Lead and manage housing staff within the scheme, ensuring all duties are covered during staff absences. Manage the domestic and maintenance teams. Work with the Finance Team to manage rents, services and other charges. Provide excellent customer care, ensuring telephone calls, personal callers and clients are dealt with in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. Manage complaints from service users, staff and others in accordance with Society policy. An understanding of the needs of older people. Management or supervisory experience in a housing scheme or similar environment. Experience in budget control and management. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Applicants must be evangelical Christians (Occupational Requirement under Regulation 7(3) of the Employment Equality (Religion and Belief) Regulations 2010).
