We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our driven team. Our mission is to provide Christian care and support, ensuring the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of our residents remains our top priority. With a focus on maintaining high standards and fostering a supportive, Christian environment, we actively involve supporters from local evangelical churches in our mission.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the sales ledger for our sites.
- Ensuring prompt and efficient billing for residents.
- Calculating and processing refunds as needed.
- Maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Collaborating with the Financial Controller and Operations team to manage overdue accounts.
- Providing excellent support to service users and their relatives.
- Performing other duties assigned by your manager from time to time that are within your capabilities.
About you:
- Minimum of one year of experience in an accounts receivable role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage and Draycir/Spindle (desirable).
- Knowledge of the end-to-end Order to Cash process.
- Strong numeracy and IT skills, with expertise in Excel.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude towards Pilgrims' Friend Society and its wider aims and objectives and the ability to fully agree with our Doctrinal Basis.
- Applicants must be evangelical Christians (This role has an Occupational Requirement to be filled by a Christian under the provisions of the Equality Act (2010)).
Full-time contract, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
