As Housing Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme, supporting our residents and ensuring they enjoy a loving, caring and supportive environment where their wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.

(our residents) while maintaining the Christian ethos that is important to many of them.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of potential occupants against eligibility criteria and allocate housing units accordingly.
- Ensure the wellbeing of occupants is maintained to a high standard.
- Ensure support plans are kept up to date.
- Lead and manage housing staff within the scheme, ensuring all duties are covered during staff absences.
- Manage the domestic and maintenance teams.
- Manage the Wellbeing Assistant.
- Work with the Finance Team to manage rents, services and other charges.
- Be responsible for devotions and lead devotional times as required.
- Provide excellent customer care, ensuring telephone calls, personal callers and clients are dealt with in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
- Oversee the health and safety of the scheme.
- Manage complaints from service users, staff and others in accordance with Society policy.
- Promote the Society and the scheme to maximise occupancy, sales and rental income, ensuring enquiries are followed through and progressed towards occupancy wherever reasonably possible.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who has
- An understanding of the needs of older people.
- Management or supervisory experience in a housing scheme or similar environment.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- The ability to lead and motivate others.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in budget control and management.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Applicants must be evangelical Christians
