We're excited to be recruiting for a newly created Supply Chain Planning Lead role within our Central Planning team at Pilgrim's Europe.

This is a unique opportunity for a supply chain professional with experience in planning systems, optimisation tools, scenario modelling, and supply chain transformation to play a key role in shaping the future of our planning capability.

Working across our manufacturing network, you'll be responsible for implementing, developing and improving planning models, optimising supply chain performance, supporting systems development, and driving data-led decision making across the business.

You'll partner closely with Operations, Logistics, Agriculture, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Planning teams to strengthen planning processes, improve visibility, and support the implementation and development of planning tools and systems that enable smarter decision-making.

This role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges, influencing stakeholders, and driving change through technology and analytics.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the implementation, development and continuous improvement of supply chain planning and optimisation models.
• Support the enhancement, and adoption of supply chain planning systems and tools.
• Develop robust scenario modelling capabilities to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Analyse supply chain data and translate findings into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
• Create and maintain planning assumptions, constraints, and optimisation parameters.
• Support and enhance S&OP, S&OE, capacity planning, and long-term planning processes.
• Drive improvements in planning accuracy, inventory optimisation, service performance, and network efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Logistics, Agriculture, Procurement, Finance, and IT to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support business transformation initiatives through improved planning technology, reporting, and analytics.
• Communicate risks, opportunities, and planning recommendations to senior stakeholders.

About You

We're looking for somebody who combines strong supply chain knowledge with systems expertise, analytical capability, and a passion for continuous improvement.

You'll have:

• Experience implementing, improving, or supporting Supply Chain Planning systems.
• Experience working with supply chain optimisation tools and planning technologies.
• Strong experience in scenario modelling, network optimisation, and data-driven decision making.
• Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Supply Chain Excellence, or Supply Chain Transformation roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and drive operational improvements.
• Experience working within FMCG, food manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, or complex manufacturing environments.

Desirable

• Experience with planning systems such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, o9 Solutions, AIMMS, PlanetTogether, or similar optimisation platforms.
• Experience supporting supply chain transformation or digitalisation projects.
• Knowledge of inventory optimisation, capacity modelling, and network planning methodologies.
• Experience working with Power BI, SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools.

Additional Information

As part of the Pilgrim's Europe way of working, this is an office-based role in Uxbridge, with an expectation to work on-site 5 days per week.
