We're looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead food safety, quality and compliance across our site, ensuring the highest standards are consistently achieved for customers, consumers and regulators.
The Role
- Lead all technical, food safety and quality activity across the factory
- Ensure compliance with BRC, customer and legal standards
- Manage and develop the site Technical Team
- Lead customer, certification and regulatory audits
- Drive continuous improvement across product, process and environment
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and Service teams to raise standards
- Analyse microbiological and chemical trends and manage incidents effectively
- Contribute to site strategy as part of the Leadership Team
About You
- Proven Technical or Quality Management experience in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, food legislation and high-risk/chilled environments
- Experience working with major retail customers
- Confident people leader with strong communication and influencing skills
- Proactive, organised and driven by continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Advanced Diploma in Applied HACCP Principles (or equivalent)
