We are excited to recruit for a Customer Care Representative to join our team to support us on Saturdays and Mondays. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment, with the possibility of extending or returning for future projects depending on business needs.
Job Type: Permanent Contract - Part-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour (paid monthly)
Expected hours: 15 hours per week, Saturdays and Mondays - 9am to 5pm (overtime opportunities)
Reporting to the supervisor, your role will be to deal with new and regular customers on the phone, to handle service enquiries. You may also be allocated to help in the warehouse to prepare customer orders for delivery by our team of drivers.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling both incoming and outgoing sales calls and dealing with customer queries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
- Being able to match products and services to a customer's needs, providing an effective and efficient service.
- Working as part of the branch team to deliver excellent customer care and online assistance for customers.
- Being proactive and enthusiastic with a passion for sales and offering high-quality customer service.
- Having a clear telephone voice and good telephone manner.
- Communicating effectively with many of our customers, who are older people.
- Attention to detail, patience, accuracy, ability to meet sales goals, and data entry skills are required.
- Being IT literate with Microsoft Word & Excel skills, although not essential.
- Working knowledge of SAP system would be an added advantage.
