About the Role
We're looking for a committed and experienced Multiplication Senior Stockperson to support and manage the day-to-day running of the farrowing or dry sow department. This is a hands-on role covering all aspects of pig husbandry, ensuring high standards of animal welfare, production, and genetic performance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily care of pigs, ensuring feed, water, and welfare standards are met
- Support and manage farrowing or dry sow operations in line with production targets
- Monitor animal health and report any issues promptly
- Carry out tagging, fostering, and breeding activities in line with programmes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and company standards
- Support general farm duties including cleaning, maintenance, and livestock handling
What We're Looking For
- Experience in livestock, pig farming, or agriculture
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- A proactive, hardworking, and reliable approach
- Full driving licence preferred
