Pilgrim's Ethics & Compliance Department is seeking an Analyst for the Ethics & Compliance team. The new team member will primarily be responsible for analyzing compliance-related data, and assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Pilgrim's compliance program and other substantive ad-hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze the fraud detection algorithms in connection with our continuous transaction monitoring software solution.
- Third-party risk management, including the third-party workflow module of our compliance software solution which involves monitoring risk scoring, managing questionnaires, and conducting additional screening and due diligence as needed.
- Assist with developing procedures around compliance software.
- Data analysis for quarterly and ad-hoc internal reporting purposes to identify trends and interpret and convey relevant information to business units.
- Assist and coordinate with other business and operational departments for developing metrics for measuring and tracking the effectiveness of the Compliance Program and ensuring appropriate documentation of compliance responsibilities.
- Support the implementation, execution, maintenance, and improvements of the overall Compliance Program.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of data analytics, auditing, and/or corporate compliance experience.
- Solid knowledge and experience in data analytics - must want to learn and grow with the role.
- MBA, CFE or similar degree preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge in anti-corruption laws in general a plus.
- Working knowledge of compliance concepts such as conflict of interests, third-party due diligence, fraud, antitrust, anti-corruption, as well as related internal controls, metrics, and monitoring.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills and performs well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organized, and have keen attention to detail.
- Analytical/critical thinking and creative problem-solving skill a must.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- A team-player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
