We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead our site technical function, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance are consistently delivered. This is a key leadership role where you'll act as the main technical contact for customers, drive audit excellence, and champion a strong Food Safety & Quality culture across the site.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and developing the Technical team to deliver best-in-class standards
- Ensuring the site is audit-ready at all times, managing customer and third-party audits
- Driving continuous improvement across food safety, quality, and compliance
- Leading investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions
- Managing supplier approval and ensuring raw material compliance
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting site strategy, KPIs, and operational excellence initiatives
What we're looking for:
- Strong Technical leadership experience within food manufacturing (FMCG)
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. HACCP, BRC)
- Proven experience managing audits and customer relationships
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong influencing skills
- Passion for driving continuous improvement and high standards
