Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a production stream in a specific area of the factory.
- Optimise manufacturing performance by implementing new and improved standards with a key focus on team member safety, product quality and product optimisation.
- Build a culture of safety amongst the Team Leaders through leading by example and reinforcing positive safety culture and climate within the production stream.
- Confirm that all processes and tasks have formal risk assessment and corrective actions have been completed as a priority.
- Track, report and improve safety performance metrics and ensure that team members have a safe working environment.
- Proactively support the creation of the production stream strategic plan which includes the priority areas of continuous improvement focus.
- Lead the Production Stream team and ensure that team members are engaged to create a positive and stable environment in which they can develop and flourish.
- Promote cross-functional involvement to optimise the correct mix of support.
- Ensure line KPIs are updated and displayed to standard.
- Monitor CCC board and progress the closure of open issues.
- Use appropriate OPEX tools to eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks, SKU complexity, major breakdowns, or the loss of services to manufacture.
- Ensure that all improvements to new or modified standards are sustainable.
- Track and optimise labour, waste, and impacts to OEE.
- Support all planned and unplanned production stream related events or activities such as team briefings, preventative maintenance, adjustments to manufacturing plans, customer audits etc. with a view to maximising overall performance.
What You Will Need:
- Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills in the English language.
- Experience in a FMCG Industry.
- Understanding of safety, quality, environmental and asset management systems.
- Experience in Manufacture / Continuous Improvement / OPEX.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to influence.
- Strong analytical skills.
