My job
Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Huntington
Purpose
To maintain, and continuously improve the factory, plant items and services.
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned maintenance to enable manufacturing process to be carried out efficiently
  • To continuously improve plant, by suggesting and trying new technologies
  • To install and commission new plant to quality standards specified by the company
  • Ensure plant is maintained in a safe working condition, to legal & environmental standards
  • Carry out projects as assigned, effectively and within budget
  • To minimize downtime by reporting faults in an efficient and timely manner
  • Work with the production manager and plan in line changeovers and set ups
  • The upkeep of all plant rooms and water treatment systems (Trained personnel)
  • To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
  • To Identify and display a positive attitude towards change and continuous improvement within your area of responsibility. Assist others in the implementation of change and provide feedback for improvement for the processes in which you are involved.
  • To fully comply with the company behaviour polices and values
