We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Minder to join our Production Team at the Bromborough site. Previous experience as a Machine Minder or similar role within a Food Manufacturing environment is desirable.

Shift Pattern: 5 out of 6 days, 7:00 am to 15:30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and maintaining all line machinery & computer equipment at the beginning of the shift and throughout.
  • Ensuring the machinery is adjusted to the required setting for each specific job on the plan.
  • Keeping areas stocked with consumables.
  • Striving to minimise waste and continuously work to reduce waste levels.
  • Overseeing department activity, ensuring all aspects of the area are running at the correct pace.
  • Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas to a high standard at all times.
  • Attend daily meetings when required or in the absence of the Line Leader.

You Will Need:

  • Be a proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal, prioritisation and communication skills.
  • Have demonstrable experience of Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
  • Be a team player.
  • Have a good mechanical background.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
