About The Role
Are you ambitious, commercially curious and ready to take real ownership in a fast-moving environment? We’re looking for a Customer Supply Chain Manager to play a key role in driving service performance for one of our most important customers. This is a high-energy, customer-facing role where you’ll sit right at the centre of customer relationships, commercial decision-making and day-to-day supply chain delivery.
You’ll work closely with the customer, production sites and internal commercial teams, managing demand, service and communication end-to-end — with a real opportunity to make your mark, influence outcomes and build a strong supply chain career.
Location: Uxbridge (Office-based, customer-facing role)
Reporting to: Director of Sales
The role is fully office-based in Uxbridge, reflecting Pilgrim’s Europe’s collaborative way of working. We believe being on-site helps teams move faster, learn more and deliver better outcomes together. Regular travel to customer locations and sites is required, as face-to-face engagement is key to success in this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be the go-to supply chain contact for the customer, building strong, trusted relationships
- Own service performance from order to delivery, driving high availability and fast issue resolution
- Lead daily service calls, working closely with customers, sites and commercial teams
- Create clear, actionable service reporting with root-cause analysis and improvement actions
- Manage short-term customer forecasts across core and promotional volumes
- Support medium- and long-term planning including base volume, bird planning and promotions
- Plan and manage peak seasonal periods such as BBQ season and Christmas
- Develop contingency plans with site planners and communicate clearly with customers
- Drive supply chain improvements across service, waste reduction, cost and sustainability
- Attend sites regularly to stay close to operations and influence outcomes
- Use systems and data to simplify processes and improve decision-making
