Pilgrim's Europe Finance team is seeking a Costing Lead for the Central Cost Management team. The new team member will primarily be responsible for updating and analysing the cost related data across all the Business Units (Poultry, Pork, Added Value, Foods Service). Also, to assist in setup rules, perform changes in BOM's and Master Recipes on SAP/RP system, be the key partner for Cost Rolling and month end activities related to costings and other substantive ad-hoc projects. This position is fully onsite at our Pilgrims Europe HQ in Uxbridge, London.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform, analyze and implement changes related to cost process such as:
- P74/Recipe Professor System maintenance changes requested by the site, primarily with the site finance team.
- SAP BOMs and Master Recipes updates and reconciliations.
- SAP to Arolink transfers / correcting and advise for issues.
- Upload external supply costings in line with the procurement policy for meat / packaging / ingredients.
- Monitor and analyze the updates with significant impact check, comparisons, cost deletion/re-roll, costing error messages.
- Investigate and identify anomalies across costings and address the appropriate resolution with the teams involved.
- Maintain the ownership for month end activities related to costings with regular data checks, reminder email, cost uploads and reporting activities such as review labour rates impact, resource creation, mass LSMW updates.
- Assist with developing procedures around costings and updates on systems across Pilgrim's Europe. Develop new reporting as needed.
- Data analysis for the month and ad-hoc internal reporting purposes to identify trends and interpret and convey relevant information to business units.
Skills and Experience Required
- 2+ years of data analytics, auditing, and/or corporate costings experience.
- Solid knowledge and experience in data analytics β must want to learn and grow with the role; MBA, CFE or similar degree preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge in the food factory environment in general a plus.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills and performs well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organized, and have keen attention to detail.
- Analytical/critical thinking and creative problem-solving skill a must.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- A team-player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
