Uxbridge - Office Based (no hybrid working). Full Driving Licence Required. Start and develop your commercial career in a dynamic, customer-facing role! We are looking for an ambitious Commercial Manager to join Pilgrim’s Europe and begin building a career in commercial account management. This role is ideal for someone early in their commercial journey who is curious, strategic, and confident communicating with customers and internal teams. You’ll support and progressively take ownership of multiple key customer accounts, working across our chicken and pork categories while developing the skills needed to succeed as a fully fledged Commercial Manager. Based at our Uxbridge office, you’ll be supported by experienced commercial leaders and cross-functional teams while gaining hands-on exposure to customer management, commercial planning and decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the management and development of multiple key customer accounts, building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Work alongside senior commercial colleagues to deliver commercial plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
  • Gain exposure to P&L responsibility, pricing, forecasting and budget management, with increasing accountability over time.
  • Help identify opportunities for sales growth, margin improvement and range development.
  • Prepare commercial analysis, performance insights and customer presentations.
  • Participate in customer meetings, negotiations and day-to-day account activity.
  • Collaborate closely with category, marketing, NPD, supply chain and technical teams.
  • Support own label product development and customer-led innovation projects.
  • Track promotional performance and support recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Represent the customer internally and help ensure their requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
  • Build a strong understanding of how a large, complex food business operates commercially.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in FMCG, food, retail, placement years or internships is advantageous but not essential.
  • A commercial mindset with a strong interest in account management and customer relationships.
  • Confident, clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the confidence to interpret data and share insights.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different functions.
  • A willingness to learn, take ownership and grow in responsibility.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.
  • Degree qualification (or equivalent experience), ideally in business, marketing, food or a related discipline.
