The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
We are currently recruiting for a full-time QA Assistant to support the operational team in delivering compliance with all site policies, procedures, and protocols at Llanidloes site. This is a factory-based role ensuring the factory is always audit ready, driving best practice in the production environment with food safety, quality, and legality. The QA Assistant will be the first point of contact for all production-based issues and will verify systems generating daily compliance KPIs.
Key part of Technical functions include but are not limited to internal auditing, micro sampling, and daily calibration.
Responsibilities:
- When required and under the guidance of the QA Team Leader, ensure that a range of routine tasks associated with the inspection of carcases and monitoring activities (e.g. product temperature/dentition/label checks) are performed at the defined frequency in accordance with the appropriate standard operating procedure.
- When required, carry out visual inspection of lamb carcases and, where identified, undertake the necessary trimming to ensure that all lamb carcases meet the required specification.
