Ongoing training and development opportunities. We're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our site engineering team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a team of mechanical, electrical and multi-skilled engineers, ensuring plant reliability, driving continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and performance. What You'll Be Doing Lead and support a team of engineers and technicians across the site. Prioritise and allocate maintenance activities to maximise factory efficiency. Drive planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and accurately record labour and parts usage through SAP. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. Support continuous improvement projects and equipment modifications. Work closely with production teams to provide technical expertise and operational support. Ensure engineering documentation is completed accurately and maintained. Champion Health & Safety, environmental compliance and 5S workplace standards. Assist with training and developing engineering and operational teams. Essential Time or skill-served Engineering qualification. Minimum 4 years' industrial engineering experience. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Good IT skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. Desirable Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience within the food manufacturing industry. Knowledge of poultry processing machinery. Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
