Pilgrim's Europe, a global leader in food production, is looking for two dynamic and motivated Operations Team Leads to join our Production team at our Grantham site. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support your team to achieve production goals.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Drive efficiency, productivity, and team engagement.
- Promote a culture of improvement and accountability.
- Responsible for the performance and speeds of lines with the aim of maximising line efficiency.
- Monitor, control and report on the product quality of your area including product entering and leaving the area and the labelling of products.
- Work to improve the work methods for productivity, performance, safety of the operation.
- Work closely with the managers in order to achieve KPIs and attend team meetings as required and contribute to good communication between management and operatives.
- Responsible for ensuring food safety, integrity, legality and quality at all times.
- Understand the Pilgrim's Europe Health and Safety Policy, Company Safety Rules and Statutory requirements applying to all operations under your control.
About You:
- Experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role, ideally in manufacturing or food production.
- Understanding of targets and KPI reporting.
- Computer literate.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with focus on performance and development.
- A strong understanding of health and safety and quality systems.
- Good attention to detail and able to use own initiative.
